The song delivers a deeply relatable message, emphasizing the importance of appreciating mothers and the knowledge they share with us.
“I wrote ‘On My Way’ as a thanks and as recognition for the many lessons my mom teaches,” he says. “It’s how I learned to be who I am today. Thank you, Ma!”
Reflecting on their bond, RNBHunter adds, “Music was always our thing. Through whatever life threw at us, there was always a song.”

Before even learning to speak, singer and songwriter, RNBHunter has been moving audiences with his soulful riffs and rich melodies. Growing up in Newark, New Jersey, the charismatic R&B artist first began performing at home in his living room and outside for his neighbors. Fast forward to his adult life and Hunter would go on to perform in Queen Latifah’s “24 Hours of Peace,” and collaborate with artists such as The Game and Fridayy.
