The song delivers a deeply relatable message, emphasizing the importance of appreciating mothers and the knowledge they share with us. 

“I wrote ‘On My Way’ as a thanks and as recognition for the many lessons my mom teaches,” he says. “It’s how I learned to be who I am today. Thank you, Ma!”

Reflecting on their bond, RNBHunter adds, “Music was always our thing. Through whatever life threw at us, there was always a song.”

Following his hip hop-infused, winter single “Like Me” and sensual, spring release, “Dangerous Game”, RNBHunter shakes up the summer with single, “Shake it Off”. The upbeat, pop-inspired track, set to release on Friday, July 12, is a spin off of Mariah Carey’s “Shake it Off.” 

“I’m like the guy friend talking to Mariah telling her ‘Yo shake it off! We outside’,” says RNBHunter.

In his own words, the Newark, NJ singer and songwriter, “puts R&B on everything”, and the pop genre is no exception. With a bubbly beat and encouraging lyrics, “Shake it Off” is sure to motivate even the most downhearted of friends to spend the night out.

[NJ, November 22, 2023]- Space Hound Records is proud to announce the signing of Newark singer and songwriter, RNBHunter. This new partnership marks the first official signing of an artist to the independent record label.

Having collaborated with artists such as The Game and Fridayy, and performed in countless shows including Queen Latifah’s “24 Hours of Peace,” RNBHunter has been moving audiences with his soulful riffs and rich melodies. Following his singles “Jungle,” “TheBest” and “Victoria,” the charismatic R&B artist started having consistent sessions with producer and Space Hound Records co-founder, Corey “MATRIXX”, resulting in the partnership seen today. 

“I chose Space Hound because this music thing for me is all about quality and they definitely make sure I have nothing less,” says Hunter.

Although “RNB” is in his name, Hunter is inspired by various music styles and genres. With new music already in the works, both he and MATRIXX look forward to introducing a sound that pushes boundaries and captivates diverse audiences. 

“I’m excited for my listeners to really see where we can take R&B, and trust me when I say it’s not only your mom’s favorite, but it’ll be yours too,” says Hunter. “I want to make music that bridges gaps and opens doors. Hopefully, like the name of my upcoming single, you all ‘Like Me.’”
